Short description Overview   Vominorm (metoclopramide) is a drug prescribed to treat esophagitis and heartburn caused by GERD. It works by increasing the rate at which the stomach content is emptied into the intestines.   Vominorm (metoclopramide) is also prescribed to persons with gastroparesis and to prevent nausea and vomiting that is linked to chemotherapy. Persons with diabetes may also take this medicine to treat diabetic gastroparesis a condition associated with slow stomach emptying. This condition is known to cause nausea, vomiting, heartburn, loss of appetite as well as feeling full for long after meals.   Vominorm may be prescribed to treat other conditions not mentioned in this medical guide.
